Halloween

The kids had so much fun for Halloween this year. They got to celebrate on and off the whole week which made it so much fun. On Halloween we went to the mall to do some trick or treating and then just went to a neighborhood we trick-or-treat at every year. It was such beautiful weather that we didn't even have to bundle them up like we usually do. Well here is pictures before we left. Our batteries died while we were out so these ended up being the only pictures we got. What do you do?:) Enjoy:)

Survey Says!!!

It's a GIRL!!!

We are excited that we are having another girl!!! We really thought this was a boy so we were quite surprised but so happy. We would be happy with either one, of course, but this will be fun. Anyway, that is our exciting news. :)

I had to go to work and missed this fun Halloween party but Joe was brave enough to take the kids himself and luckily Uncle Sam and Aunt Ella and kids went also. They had a great time.

Another First!!!

Darron lost his first tooth this month. It was quite the drama until he realized it actually didn't hurt when it actually came out. Awesome!

Better Late Then Never.

Yes, I know that it has been forever since I have updated my page. Needless to say, it has been a couple of crazy months. When we got back from our Kentucky trip in July we found out that we are expecting our 3rd child. My due date is March 25th and we are very excited. I have been more sick this time than with either of my other pregnancies so it has been a little crazier than usual. On top of company coming into town and Darron starting school, the night of Darron's first day he fell off his bed and broke his collar bone. So he missed the second day of school but is fine. (Hence, the sling in the butterfly pictures below) We had a small plumbing issue that caused an unstable pregnant woman to lose her mind for a day. Then the following week that same unstable pregnant lady rear-ended and truck taking her son to school. If you ask me we should fire that lady. But everyone was fine and that is the most important but I think the crazy pregnant lady has a bruised ego. :) Needless to say it has been anything but uneventful but we have been blessed and are grateful for that. The baby is growing and we will hopefully find out what it is toward the end of this month. Alyse and Darron could not be more excited. Thanks for you patience in seeing the same page for the last 3 months:) But now that 1st trimester is behind me, hopefully I can cope with updating more often:)

JOE's 30th Birthday
That's right he is officially and old man:) Joe turned 30 on the 9th of September and we actually celebrated all weekend. We had so much fun picking out some games he can play outside with the kids because that is his favorite thing to do.

A game that took a whopping 5 seconds to throw the ball of the fence.

Luckily we have sweet neighbors:)

Joe's parents bought Darron a set of caterpillars that he got to watch turn into butterflies. For Family Home Evening we let them go and talked about the beautiful things Heavenly Father has created for us. The kids had the best time.

Darron's First Day of Kindergarten

Here in Norman they have your choice of all day or half day Kindergarten but not very many people opt for half day so at the advice of his Pre-K teacher Darron started full day school this year. It has been hard not having him home but he is having the best time. What a grown up little boy.

Sorry that the pictures are so dark. I couldn't resist this picture because the blur you see at the bottom of the picture is Alyse running through the photo last second. STINKER!!! Darron was so excited to go to school I think Alyse thought she got to go to.

So of course I took a picutre of them together. It was a big day for both of them:)

In Mid-August, Joe's parents came for a visit. It was so great having them here to party with us. Grandpa even brought his waterslide for the kids to play with and they had so much fun.

Alyse was cracking me up. She didn't really want to do the slide she just sat in here little pool lounging most of the time. What a silly girl:)

For the 4th of July we went to Paducah, Ky to visit Mimi and Papa. We had so much fun. This is us at Fort Massac. It is a really cool old army fort right off of the Ohio river. We had a lot of fun climbing around inside the buildings.

Lambert's Home of the Throwed Rolls (you read it right)
While we were in Paducah we decided to drive about an hour to Sikeston, IL to go to Lambert's restraunt. The food was great and what is better than a restraunt that throws rolls at you. Darron thought this was the best place ever.

Downtown Paducah is so much fun in the summer. You can go down by the river and they have bands playing and the kids can color on the side walk. Just very old town feel.
