Our Little Leesi-bug turns 2

Alyse's birthday is actually not until tomorrow but since it is on a Sunday and it being Father's Day we celebrated it today. We call Alyse Leesi-bug all the time so it was only appropriate that bug be our theme for this birthday. I just can't believe that she is two already. I know it is so cliche but man how time flies. Here are a few highlights of the fun party.

Isaac on the slip and slide. It looks like he might take out Emmy. The kids had so much fun outside. It is amazing how just a little bit of water can keep kids entertained forever.

Alyse got some new books from them to. A funny thing happened, after the party I asked Joe where all of the pictures of the other presents were. Apparently I was so busy video taping I forgot to take any pictures of it. Awesome!

This year there are several of our friends turning 30 in the ward so we decided to have an 80s themed party to celebrate altogether. It was such a blast.

Yesterday we went to the Myriad Gardens with Ella and Sam to do a Cystic Fibrosis walk. Since Holly and Breann have CF they do a walk every year to help raise funds for CF research, so we thought it was only appropriate to start doing an annual walk in OKC as well. So here are some pictures from our awesome day.

We are excited to go again next year. We had such a good time:)

In Norman every year they have a fund raiser called Touch-a-Truck. Joe took the kids this year and who wouldn't have fun climbing on Trucks and inside of cars and helicopters. It is every little boys dream:)

March has been flying by so quickly, we were lucky enough to have my entire family here for a weekend. We did a big combined party for all of Mimi & Papa's grand babies. Here are some fun pictures of our fun times this month.

We went up to the OKC Bombing Memorial. It was such a moving experience. This is a sculpture of Christ that sits just off of the main memorial. His back is turned and he is crying into his hand. It was so heart breaking.

These are a few of the rows of chairs. There are 9 rows total representing the 9 floors of the building. If you look closely you can see the second row from the right has slightly smaller chairs. Each small chair represents a child that was lost and the second floor held the day care which is why it has mostly small chairs.
